Ποιειν Και Πραττειν - create and do

Poiein kai Prattein

Poiein kai Prattein was founded in Athens, Greece 2002

Non -Profit Urban Society

POIEIN KAI PRATTEIN means in archaic Greek “create and do” and understands itself as an entity of Civil Society. As the name suggests, this non profit Urban Society wishes to bring together creativity and productivity to promote civic values through Good Practice.

POIEIN KAI PRATTEIN underlines the assumption that a good life in cities is only possible, if people respect one another and thereby enhance together and individually or else in different social groups, institutions and organisations a good i.e. functioning interrelationship between the physis and nomos of human existence. As such the political, cultural, economic, social and physical well being of all people is a matter of adherence to a constitution of lawfulness brought about in freedom from coercion and on the basis of non-violence. Good practice means things are done out of respect of the Human and Cultural Rights of every single human being and in appreciation of life. In particular, this pertains to children and youth.
